Do you need help playing against Sion in League of Legends? Don’t worry—here are the best champions to help you climb the LoL ladder.

Sion is one of the older champions in League of Legends history and has been a staple in the top lane for many years both in solo queue and the competitive scene. Sion is an incredible champion at all stages of the game. He does a lot of early-game damage while scaling up to be an unkillable tank in the late game. So the question is, how do you stop Sion in League of Legends? Follow this article to find out the three best Sion counters in League of Legends right now.

Best Sion Counters in LoL
Gwen

Gwen will force Sion to build more towards magic resistance, which he will not like to do. Just make sure you are constantly applying pressure, he will be forced to go MR early and will not be as strong in the lane and the team fights. Your abilities will chunk him out of the lane regardless and you will be able to dodge his Q with your dash. Going all in will either force him into a bad fight or he will have to ultimate away.

Dr Mundo

Sion will simply not be able to deal with Mundo as the game goes on. Sion is a tank, but he doesn’t have the capability of killing other tanks. This is the case with Mundo, he will be too tanky and Sion will not be able to kill him without team intervention.

Trundle

Trundle is an amazing champion into Sion. He can handle him in the lane quite well and his pillar can stop him from using his ultimate to escape. Try and keep the lane close to your tower, he will be forced into a bad fight or have to use his ultimate. Trundle’s ultimate will also drain the tank stats away from Sion so he won’t really have any chance of killing you in a 1v1.
